Zakynthos is served by one airport (airport code ZTH), located towards the south end of the island near to the resort of Laganas and Kalamaki, it caters for both international and domestic flights. Almost all international flights are chartered flights from other European cities during the holiday season (May-October). Domestic flights are available between Zakynthos airport and Athens served by the national airline Olympic Airlines , there are usually two flights a day. The journey time to Athens is approximately 1 hour. The UK flights are usually Thursday to Sunday
Zakynthos-Killini
Ferries run from Zakynthos to the port of Killini, on the Peloponnese coast and the journey takes approximately one hour. There are 5 ferries a day between Zante and Killini in the summer and between 3 and 4 in the winter months. The ferries also link with a bus service so that passengers can buy tickets to Patras and Athens.

1. Shipreck (The most famous landmark of the island is the Navagio beach. It is a cove on the northwest shore, isolated by high cliffs and accessible only by boat. The beach and sea floor are made of white pebbles, and surrounded by turquoise waters. It is named after a shipwreck MV Panagiotis, which sunk on the shore around 1980.)
2. Blue caves (Nearby the Shipwreck, there are only 3 Blue Caves in the whole of Greece).
3. Gerakas (one ofthe most beatiful beaches of the island, visitor can learn about endangered Careta Careta turtles)
4. Bohali (from bohali visitor can enjoy a panoramic view of Zakynthos town. Moreover it is where the ruins of a Venetian castle are located)
